How to Earn A Pharmacy Profession in the Philippines?

There are only three stages you have to finish before you will be called Registered Pharmacist.
  1. You should have to finish a four year course in the Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy in any university or college that offering pharmacy course. Units and semesters are not needed because in the Philippines syllabuses and subjects are fixed already to a certain semester or year.
  2. Internships should be fully fulfilled with the 960 hours all in all breaking down into three minor internships in community pharmacy, hospital pharmacy and manufacturing pharmacy with 200hrs each, and a major internship either one in the three corners of pharmacy profession which is 360hrs.
  3. Must be registered and licensed by PRC and Board of Pharmacy. After graduating in pharmacy degree, pharmacy board exam must be taken and passed to entitle to practice the profession regulated by PRC and Board of Pharmacy.
