Generics Menu Cards

What is Generics Menu Cards?

Generics Menu Cards are lists of different dosage strength, concentration, dosage form, brands and prices of the ten most sold drug products (other than Lists of Generic and Branded Medicines) that are available in the drugstore or pharmacy, and commonly prescribed by the physicians. These generics menu cards are important when the patient or customer is deciding for what drug's brand he/she going to purchase base on his/her budget. The menu cards can be printed out in coupon bond or may be customized into tarpaulin or poster that should be displayed in an area where it is conspicuously and easily seen by the customers. The disadvantage of menu cards are when the prices, brands and dosage forms have changed, which must be continuously updated. Including in the menu cards are amoxicillin, penicillin V, salbutamol, rifampicin, paracetamol, ibuprofen, pyrazinamide, ethambutol, isoniazid and erythromycin. Other drugs can be included in the menu if the pharmacist may want to, but most of the time the ten drugs are only done, because it is tedious to do and needs a lot of time.
