PDEA Compliance Service Actively Outdoor

PDEA Compliance Service Director III Helen Maita Reyes had confirmed that she enforced her agents to actively evaluate and inspect community and hospital pharmacies irregardless of S3 registration.

She confirmed and validated about the unanticipated inspection of her agents to drug retailers to fully implement the Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, last May 30, 2013 for the Quarterly Seminar and Workshop. Her goal is to evaluate each retailer if they follow the law regarding the proper dispensing, monitoring, and keeping of dangerous drugs. Her team has been gone to different community drugstores and found out that many of them are violators and non-compliant. Director Reyes said that she will not stop in her advocacy, the PDEA and the DDB to penalize those who are non-compliant and not following the provision given.

Director Reyes also said that PDEA Compliance Service has conducting monthly, quarterly and special seminars and workshops for retailers, distributors, importers, doctors and etc. These seminars and workshops of the agency are truly committed to inform and educate the public, especially those who are mainly involved in the business of utilization of dangerous drugs.

Last seminar and workshop, some points were cleared such as yellow prescription pad scarcity has already resolved and cannot be used as an alibi for penalty. Clearance of using by phone, emergency and electronic receiving of dangerous drugs are case to case only or still not possible. Penalties and sanctions were emphasized and reminded some regulatory control measures. The workshop taught the participants how to fill out the application permits (local permit, yellow prescription and S2 license), recording of dangerous drugs and semi-annual report.

The seminar and workshop is a paid service given by PDEA Compliance Service to teach the involved industries and persons to know the law and follow it. If you want to be part of their training and workshop please call their hotlines or visit their website to further know the schedules of their seminars and workshops.
