Usually a
pharmacist in practice needs some reliable informational references
to respond on patient's or other healthcare providers' queries
whenever the answers are not scope of his/her knowledge. Truth and
factual information should only be handed to someone who needs answer
about drugs. Therefore, a pharmacist must have sources that contain
genuine information and really helpful to find solution to the
questions raised by patient or colleagues. Because nowadays the
internet is the most convenient and fastest way in giving answer to
the researcher, a pharmacist must collect pharmacy websites and
internet references which are very reliable and supported by most of
his/her group or the author is known to be in this craft and has
great knowledge to discuss such information.
In here I
give some pharmacy internet-based resources matrix adopted from the
book. These references are mostly referred by pharmacists abroad and
the US. These may be helpful to us pharmacists here in the
Philippines and for students, too.
