To help you find the right scar remover, I have made an experiment to help you to choose and decide what scar remover in the market is more effective to use. The experimentation is done by using two leading brands of scar removers in the market, Dermatix and Contractubex. The scar removers are applied in 10 years and beyond scars, which I think can be challenging to their true effectiveness and how far the claimed results are true. The condition, procedure, amount of gel administered and time of application are all fair and at the same manner.
The goal of this experiment is to provide the most effective and efficient scar remover in the market that can truly guarantee scar removing, lightening and total disappearance of scar for 9 months. The experiment is under observation and time to time photos of actual results will be posted from the untreated scars to week 1, a month later, 3 months up to 9 months when the final result will be shown. This I think will help you to decide what scar remover can be effective to use for you.

RESULTS and COMMENTS
FIRST WEEK RESULT:
1. USING CONTRACTUBEX
In the first week of using Contractubex, the scar becomes reddening and can clearly see changes. The untreated scar looked like shiny and visible, while, on a week of using Contractubex the scar is reddening and the shiny part is disappearing. There is slight itchiness, but that is a good sign of regeneration of new cells in the scar. Rating: 4.5 Stars.
2. USING DERMATIX
In the first week of using Dermatix, the scar does not change much. No sign of redness or itchiness. Result may be visible after a month of usage. Rating: 2 Stars.
A MONTH LATER: Under Observation
